The companies in the SIMPAR group made progress in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a global non-profit organization that collects and discloses data on companies' environmental impacts. Vamos, part of the group, rose from B to A- in its score, while JSL, Movida and SIMPAR maintained their B grade.
SIMPAR has been investing in renewable energy sources and prioritizing the management of CO₂ emissions, waste and the conscious consumption of natural resources. The group has set itself the target of reducing emissions intensity by 15% by 2030, based on the Sustainability-Linked Bond.
JSL is modernizing its fleet and investing in new technologies and eco-efficiency, as well as buying renewable energy. Movida, the first global rental company with the Company B seal, issued a Sustainability-Linked Bond (SLB) and obtained recognition from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Vamos is promoting the renewal of the national fleet, offering electric and biogas trucks and machines, as well as creating the 100% electric mobile workshop and the Vamos Carbono Zero program to neutralize emissions.
In 2024, SIMPAR joined B3's Carbon Efficient Index (ICO2). The group's companies are also included in B3's Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE), reflecting their high standards of sustainability.
