Simpar debuts at B3's ICO2

São Paulo, February 2025.

Holding joins Movida and Vamos in the portfolio that brings together companies committed to making emissions management even more efficient

São Paulo, January 2025 - Simpar (SIMH3), the parent company of eight independent companies operating in 16 sectors of the economy, has joined B3's Carbon Efficient Index (ICO2) for the first time.
The holding now joins its subsidiaries Movida (MOVI3), which specializes in car rental, and Vamos (VAMO3), focused on heavy vehicle rental, which are already part of the index portfolio. The recognition reinforces the Group's commitment to best management practices and efficiency in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Created in 2010, B3's ICO2 promotes transparency and efficiency in the management of GHG emissions. With an improved methodology in 2024, the index now offers the market a portfolio in which the total volume of GHG emissions is 88% lower compared to previous portfolios.
Simpar's inclusion in B3's ICO2 reinforces the recognition of its sustainable practices. The Group has the largest portfolio of companies in B3's Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) and has achieved prominence in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), with its subsidiaries among the highest scores in their respective sectors in Brazil. In 2023, it maintained its B grade in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and, since 2019, it has been recognized with the Gold Seal in the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program.

Sustainability strategy
As a holding company, Simpar directs and coordinates actions to minimize the social and environmental impacts of the operations of its subsidiaries - JSL, Movida, Vamos, CS Brasil, Automob, Banco BBC Digital, CS Infra and Ciclus Ambiental.

- Telemetry: implementing systems to improve driver performance, reduce fuel consumption and optimize fleet use;
