New vehicle sales grew by 17.4%, but sustainability still counts for little when it comes to renewal
The renewal of Brazil's fleet of trucks and other cargo transportation equipment is being carried out at an ever-increasing pace. The aim is not just to remove old vehicles from circulation, many manufactured in the 1980s or 1990s, in exchange for more modern equipment, with new technologies that bring more productivity. There is also a concern, still timid, with sustainability, with decarbonization in the road transport of products throughout the country.
