In all, approximately 530 children took part in the initiative, 380 of them in Mogi alone
Getting to know their parents' work routine up close is enriching for children. With this in mind Simpar - the group that controls the companies JSL, Movida, Vamos, CS Brasil, Automob, Banco BBC Digital, CS Infra and Ciclus Ambiental - offered a special program for the children of its employees. The event took place in Mogi das Cruzes last Thursday and Friday, October 17 and 18, in Itaquaquecetuba on the 17th and in São Paulo on the 18th. In all, approximately 530 children took part in the initiative, 380 of them in Mogi alone.
The little ones had fun with recreational activities such as slime making, crazy hair, painting and making bead bracelets, as well as a photo booth and various toys. There was also a special menu and distribution of exclusive gifts. Specifically in Mogi, where more than 380 young visitors were expected between the two days of programming, a tour of the company's garage was held.
"The aim of the action is to demystify the professional environment and strengthen family ties between parents and children. In addition, the initiative will help to reinforce important values, such as a sense of responsibility and commitment, and to inspire children to imagine what they want to be when they grow up," explains Juliana Simões, Simpar's People and Culture director.
Donation of toys
During the period, the Julio Simões Institute, Simpar's social arm, promoted an internal toy collection campaign, with the aim of providing moments of fun and learning for around 70 children assisted by the Jabuti NGO, in the Jundiapeba district of Mogi. The campaign collects collective toys such as board games, ropes, puzzles and balls, among others.
