SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Vamos (VAMO3) expects to make a net profit of between R$ 450 million and R$ 550 million in 2025, the company said on Tuesday, also projecting to close the year with a leverage level of between 3 and 3.2 times, versus 3.3 times in 2024.
The forecast for net profit, said the company, considers an average Selic rate of 14.7% for the period from April to December this year, according to a material fact to the market.
The company also projected an EBITDA of between R$3.85 billion and R$4.15 billion this year, with net capex of between R$2 billion and R$2.2 billion in the same financial year.
According to the company, the projections were based on assumptions released at the end of last year, which include the prospect of capex of R$5 billion in the year - with R$3.3 billion being disbursed for the purchase of new assets.
