Simpar (SIMH3) - a holding company that controls seven independent companies - JSL (JSLG3), Movida (MOVI3), Vamos (VAMO3), CS Brasil, CS Infra, Original and BBC Leasing & Conta Digital - reaches its first year as a listed holding company with record indicators.

The figures presented in the last quarter (3Q21) prove this evolution:
- Net profit of R$ 399 million, 358% higher compared to the same period last year;
- Record EBITDA of R$1.2 billion, double year-on-year;
- Gross revenue of R$4.4 billion, an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2020;
- ROIC of 14.8% annualized.

INVESTMENT HISTORY
- +R$12.3 Bi invested in the last 3 years (2019 to 3Q21 UDM)

- Forecast for 2022 is R$ 10 Bi, which could reach R$ 12 Bi, without considering acquisitions
Simpar forecasts investments of around R$ 10 billion by 2022, which could reach R$ 12 billion (net CAPEX). These investments result from the companies' annual budgets, supported by their respective cash generation, respecting the planned capital structures and without the need to offer shares on the market (follow on).
The investments are aligned with the Group's strategic planning and comply with the discipline adopted by the company in the allocation of resources, expected return and leverage guaranteeing continuity of its growth cycle and will be for the consolidation and structure necessary for business development and expansion. It is worth noting that A substantial part of the investments made in the last 12 months has not yet been converted into revenue and results, which should be seen in the coming quarters.
Capex for 2022 represents elevation of around 20% compared to the last twelve months (ending in October 2021) and will be destined, above all, for the expansion of the fleet of light and heavy vehicles, with the following objectives the objective of accelerating business and contracts that offer consistent returns, in addition to meeting the expansion and services already contracted in the different subsidiaries.

The investments made over the last few years have been generating jobs and income and boosting tax collection in the different Brazilian cities where Simpar operates with its businesses and companies, thus reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development supported by the best governance practices. In December of that year, the JSL was announced as the best-ranked company and the only one in the logistics sector in South America to receive a B- grade in the Carbon Disclosure Project 2021published by CDP, the non-profit organization with the largest database on companies' environmental actions in the world. The JSL is above the global average for the transportation and logistics sector.
